10. I am on the merit list but have not received any email regarding counselling. Why is that?

Online counselling is conducted in multiple rounds and is category-wise. If you haven’t received an email in the first round, you will likely receive it in the second or subsequent rounds, provided seats are available. The merit list for each round is prepared based on the category-wise allocation of seats.

11. Can you explain the multiple rounds of counselling?

The counseling process is divided into five rounds. In the first round of counselling, 60 (sixty) candidates from the merit list, declared on 25.01.24 have been invited to complete the process of counseling. These 60 candidates include top 24-General; top 6-EWS; top 17-OBC-NCL; top 12-SC. Since there is no candidate in ST category, as per the government rules, one seat of ST is converted to SC. The horizontal reservation is also followed. After each round, we will assess the availability of category-wise vacant seats and proceed to the next round of counselling. This process continues until all the seats are allotted. If after the five rounds of counselling, seats still remain vacant, then spot admission may also be conducted.

12. If I am not able to complete the counselling formalities in the first round, will I be invited in the next round of counselling?

Candidates who receive an offer in any round are required to respond within the specified deadline. If a candidate does not accept the offer or fails to complete the required formalities within the deadline, the offer is forfeited, and the seat is made available on the basis of merit and category for the next round of counseling. We advise all candidates to regularly check their emails, including the spam folder, and keep an eye on our official website for updates related to the counseling schedule and their application status.

13. I am experiencing internet connectivity issues during the online counseling process. What should I do?

The university is not responsible for issues of internet connectivity on the part of the candidate during the online counseling process. Candidates must ensure that they have a stable internet connection for fee payment, and other online activities.

14. I am appearing for class 12 this year, when do I have to pay the remaining fees after accepting the offer letter?
