Dr. Arjun is currently serving as the Assistant Librarian at Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj. He brings with him more than seventeen years of rich experience in academic librarianship, having previously worked at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab.

A highly dedicated professional, Dr. Arjun has been instrumental in implementing modern library technologies, especially in library automation and RFID systems. He is equipped with comprehensive training, having completed all three levels of the programs offered by LIBSYS.

He did his Master in Sociology and a Master in Library and Information Science from Punjabi University Patiala.He also holds the M.Phil and Ph.D. in Library Science. Additionally, he has earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking (PGDLAN).

Dr. Arjun is a core member of the Association of Indian Law Libraries (AILL), Life time member of the Indian Library Association (ILA) and serves as the Chief Editor of the International Journal of Digital Library Services (IJODLS) and International Journal of Information Sources and Services (IJSS). He is also associated with several other reputed journals as an editor and reviewer. His research interests include library automation, digitization, and knowledge management. He has published several edited books, articles and participated in many national and international conferences.

In recognition of his contribution to the field, Dr. Arjun was honoured with the “Young Library Professional Award” in 2023 by Uttarakhand University, Dehradun. He has organised numerous national and international conferences in the field of Library and Information Science..

Beyond academics, Dr. Arjun is also committed to social causes. He actively serves as the Joint Secretary of the Human Rights Council of India (Punjab & Haryana), contributing to various initiatives focused on education, rights, and public welfare.
